I've added a 1957 "Hobbies are Family Fun" catalog to the HOBBY SHOP CATALOGS page. This now provides a complete set of catalogs from 56 to 61 showing the progression of "Matchless" Matchbox displays.

OK, so it's been awhile since I've updated the Matchbox pages (or at least admitted to it so poke around) but for some documented changes be sure to check out the Budgie pages. But back to Matchbox; new organized views of my Box Type "C" Collection Display and my Box Type "D" Collection Display are now available. And yes you are seeing "D" boxes for the 47A and 55A. Also some hard to find "C" boxes for the multi-model releases such as the 14B/C, 26A/B, 34A/B and 39A/B. Just need a 19B to complete the 19B/C set.

• LOOSE MODELS: 55B-1 (HTF dark blue)
• BOX TYPE "B" MUG SHOTS: 1A-2 (one of the last 3 I castings I needed)
• BOX TYPE "D" MUG SHOTS: 8C-2 (rare silver plastic rollers)

The Matchbox display from what I'm guessing is a 1957 Hobby Shop Catalog has been added to the HOBBY SHOP CATALOGS page. This display shows model#s 1 through 24 (with a green 24A!) and the Covered Wagon as model# 59, which was also it's price.

With the addition of the 23A-1, Berkeley Cavalier Trailer to my BOX TYPE "B" MUG SHOTS pages, I'm am short just 2 models of having the complete set of 1 to 75 regular wheels. Next acquisitions need to be a 10B, Mechanical Horse & Trailer and the 18B Caterpillar Bulldozer.

I've been fortunate enough to add a few more of the hard to find "C" type boxes to my BOX TYPE "C" MUG SHOTS pages. New models are the 12B-2, the 24B-1 with medium sized image and the 68A-1.

Pictures of all 12 2006 Stars of Cars, exclusive to Germany, are in the new 2006 STARS OF CARS SERIES section. This is a great set of variations for these cars.

A picture of the gold BMW Z3, which is one of several chase cars for 2006, has been added to the 2006 SUPERFAST SERIES section. This also happens to be the first new model w/opening doors. Very nice.

OK, I've finished collecting all the models needed to fill out the 1968 BCM-1 CARDBOARD DISPLAY used by dealers. Fortunately it contains mostly common models that are much easier to obtain that those I need to finish off my 1966/67 DEALER CARDBOARD DISPLAY. But as you can see, I'm making progress there too.

The 12 Stars of Cars models from Germany for 2005 have been added to the 1 to 75 SERIES & NEW SUPERFAST page. Some interesting variations and colors. Always seem to be better than those used in the states.
